Features

A chic aesthetic with a superbly practical layout..
the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor living..
welcome to your Inner Sunset sanctuary!

Upstairs in this modern home, you will find three very distinct but adjoining social rooms that provide the perfect party flow and a direct line of sight through the kitchen to capture the gorgeous San Francisco sunsets from all three rooms. The living room features a fireplace and built-in wood cabinets with beautiful period detail.  The formal dining room opens directly onto the chef’s kitchen and true heart of this home.

This culinary and social hub was redesigned to meet the needs of today’s modern family. Two walls and a spacious center island are teeming with storage space and provide ample counter top for your culinary adventures, or for loved ones to perch at the bar to keep you company. Thoughtful features abound: custom cabinetry from Madera Cabinetry with self-closing hardware and roller-door storage areas to conceal your counter-top appliances when not in use; two sinks, each with disposals and Grohe faucets plus an instant hot water fixture; an elegant Heath ceramic tile backsplash; a built-in casual dining bench; a TV hook-up in the cabinet above the refrigerator; designer light fixtures and a large skylight for brightness; direct access to a spacious deck and lower yard.  So many smart details have turned this sleek kitchen into something extraordinary.  Two nicely sized bedrooms, situated on opposite sides of the home for more privacy, and a full bathroom complete this level.

The newly expanded downstairs offers an array of rooms that could be shared, or enclosed via the pocket door to create a spacious master suite.  The master bedroom features a large closet outfitted by California Closets, direct views and access to the rear patios and yard, and an adjoining room that could be used as a home office, nursery, exercise room, or space for your favorite hobby. The master bathroom offers a custom floating dual vanity by Madera Cabinetry with recessed Robern medicine cabinets, a Kohler soaking tub with shower, Heath ceramic tile, and Grohe and Hansgrohe fixtures.  Located in the hallway is a laundry room with additional shelving. The one-car garage garage features additional overhead and hallway storage, as well as direct access to the rear yard.

Throughout this 1854 square foot home, additional upgrades can be found: Shade Store top-down/bottom-up window blinds, double-paned Pella windows and doors installed with retractable screens, a Honeywell dual zone Wi-Fi controlled furnace, an on-demand Takagi water heater, seismic upgrades to name a few.

The rear yard is a truly a masterpiece. Step outside and feel the immediate release of tension in your body.  The Ipe hardwood deck lies directly off of the kitchen with enough space for your family to dine al fresco or watch the sun set over the ocean.  No time to relax? Why not let the kids and the dog play happily down below while you watch over them from above?  The covered patio is a great place to relax in the shade, or hang out on the large patio with abundant built-in seating while you grill dinner and relax with friends. Kids will love the flat yard and magical playhouse to inspire their adventures.  Even your pets have a dedicated area for their own personal business in the gated dog run!  There truly is something for everyone, and for every mood, in this enchanted space.   Let’s not forget the front of the house, whose space has been expertly landscaped to provide a warm welcome every time you return home to your sanctuary.
